You want to build a SaaS product.
Three shapes cover most of what we get asked for. One of them is probably yours.
What this usually looks like
A product from scratch
Founding architecture: tenancy model, permissions, billing and the API from day one.
Productising an internal tool
You built something for yourself and three customers have asked to buy it.
Rescuing an MVP
It works and it sold, but it was never built to have a second customer.
How long and how much
Ranges, not quotes. The discovery week is what turns them into a number.
2 weeks
Architecture
Tenancy, permissions and billing model decided before any feature work.
12–20 weeks
To first paying customer
Including onboarding, admin tooling and the billing integration.
from $45,000
Typical range
Multi-tenant foundations carry more up-front cost than a single-tenant app.
When we'd tell you not to
If you have no customers yet and no signed intent, build the smallest thing that proves demand before paying for multi-tenancy. Tenancy is expensive to add later, but it is far more expensive to build for a product nobody buys.
